First is a new live travel mode which uses GPS to show upcoming weather conditions as you drive.  To access live travel mode enter your route information on  navscout  to view weather conditions and plan your trip.  When you leave, click the 'Start Trip' button. Second, the location autocomplete feature that fills out the route starting point or destination now uses Google Places to provide over 95 million locations.
